How SHILL works
Campaigns, proofs, fees and the disclosure rules.
How it works
- Create. A project creates a campaign for any token by its mint address (any SPL or Token-2022 mint, Pump.fun coins included). It sets a fixed reward per approved post, the allowed platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, other), a brief, rules, the required disclosure text, a maximum number of posts and a time window.
- Fund. Every campaign gets its own deposit address. Anyone can send SOL to it, or route Pump.fun creator fees there. Deposits are read from the chain and credited only once finalized.
- Shill. Shillers connect a wallet, post about the token with the disclosure, and submit the post URL on the campaign page. There is no account verification. Track your posts in the shiller hub.
- Review. The project opens each post and approves or rejects it. Duplicate posts are caught automatically.
- Get paid. Approved posts are paid the fixed reward from the campaign budget to the submitting wallet. Each payout has a public transaction. Closing a campaign returns the remaining budget to the project.
Fixed-price tasks are available now. Performance rewards (paying by views or engagement) are planned and need verified platform data first.
Proof and review
A proof is the URL of a single public post. SHILL canonicalizes it (for example twitter.com and x.com links are the same post) and rejects a post that was already submitted to any campaign, so one post is paid once.
Any connected wallet can submit, and every submission goes straight to review. SHILL does not verify social accounts, so a handle in the URL is only a hint: the reviewer opens the post and checks it before approving. The reward goes to the wallet that submitted the post.
SHILL does not verify views or engagement today. Reviewers judge the post itself.
Fees
SHILL keeps a 10% platform fee of every deposit actually received. It is moved to the platform wallet in a separate, public transaction. The other 90% is the campaign budget. Deposit 1 SOL, and 0.9 SOL is available for rewards.
Shillers pay no fee to SHILL. Solana network fees for payouts are paid from the campaign wallet, which keeps a small reserve (0.002 SOL) for them.
Disclosure rules
A paid shill is advertising. Every post submitted to a campaign must carry the campaign's disclosure text (default #ad) in a way a reader can see, and shillers confirm this when they submit. Posts without a clear disclosure must be rejected.
- Do not promise returns, price targets or guaranteed gains.
- Follow the advertising rules of the platform you post on and of your country.
- Projects must not ask for undisclosed shilling, fake engagement or bots.
Campaigns and posts that break these rules can be reported from the campaign page; admins can pause campaigns and reject posts.
